Hey errybody. Xavier here.
First off, thank you so much for coming out to The Slidebar last night- probably my personal favorite show I’ve been a part of in years. Also, that place was PACKED! So much love for our brothers in Twin Suns and Happy Body Slow Brain, and our new bud Gavin Castleton.
So. As you all know by now, our beloved Emilio, AKA The Cheddar, has been forced to part ways with us. As sad as we are to see him go, it’s something he has to do in order to finish his civil engineering degree (yeah, that’s right, we’re smart dudes) before he turns 50 in a couple years.
As you can imagine, this means Remedies will no longer be the same. Ever. We will, however, soldier on. In order to do so, we need to find ourselves another guitarist. Although we’ve already had a few friends let us know of their interest (which, by the way, is THE SINGLE MOST FLATTERING THING EVER), we’re definitely willing to hear from anyone else who would like to come in and bang out these songs with us! Drop us a line at remediesband[at]gmail.com if you think you’ve got what it takes to help us get these songs out to the world, and we’ll talk some business.
I know it’s been a long, weird ride getting to where we’re at, and I can’t thank all of you enough for sticking by every member change this band has gone through. Hopefully this will be the last one we deal with, it’s a real pain in the neck. Christian, Alex, and myself have absolutely nothing but love for all of you guys.

Well, hello.
It’s been a while. We know. We’re sorry. Oh, us? We’ve been well, just taking our time completing our lineup (this will be our first show with Alex singing…and we can’t wait for you to hear him!) and recording this long-overdue album. Yeah, we know, we want it done too. We’re working as fast as we can. Hang tight for that. Oh, the rash? Yeah…allergies. Not contagious. But we learned our lesson. ANYWAY.
In the meantime, why not come and chill with us for a free show? Yeah! Our good friends in Happy Body Slow Brain are coming down, and they’re bringing the AMAZING Gavin Castleton with them. Oh, Twin Suns? Yeah…it’s true…those pansies are throwing in the towel after this show. But that doesn’t mean we can’t get buck wild for them one last time!
Anyway, good to hear from you again. You’ll be there, right? Awesome!! Duh, of COURSE you can bring some friends!!! Yeah, they get in free too! Good catching up. See you guys in January!
